Mark Beech

Mark Beech, LLB, AAMINZ, PRI (Med), Minst D, AHRINIZ

Mark is the head of Regional Chambers, a specialist Dispute Resolution set of Barrister’s Chambers based in Tauranga, and undertaking dispute resolution and trial work throughout New Zealand. 

In addition to being a trial advocate, Mark is a qualified Mediator, Arbitrator and works in the Workplace Investigation sphere.  He has undertaken Advanced Mediation training through Pepperdine Law School, together with Negotiation Training through the Pound Institute at Harvard Law School.  Mark was also the previous Vice Chairman of the Resolution Institute.

 

Trish Blyth

Trish Blyth, AAMINZ, Accredited Panel Resolution Institute

Trish Blyth has been a Mediator for over 30 years.  She was a lawyer for a number of years, but decided to return to her passion as a Mediator. Trish has been on the DNC mediation panel since 2010.  Besides the private mediations she does, she is a Disputes Tribunal Referee, a mediator for the  Family Disputes Resolution Service, a mediator for the Franchise Association and the Law Society, and a Conciliator for the Telecommunications Disputes Resolution Service.

Deborah Clapshaw

Deborah Clapshaw, FAMINZ (Med), Advanced Panel Resolution Institute

Deborah Clapshaw is a barrister who has been at the independent bar since 1994 and has 38 years of dispute resolution experience.  She specialises in commercial mediation both privately and on a number of mediation panels. She is a Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators, Fellow of the Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of NZ, Advanced Panel Member of Resolution Institute, past Chair of the State Housing Appeal Authority and past member of a Complaints Assessment Committee for the REA. She has been conducting domain name mediations since the inception of the .nz DRS.

 

Tim Clarke

Tim Clarke, Advanced Mediation Panel Resolution Institute NZ and AAMINZ

Tim has 30 years experience in mediation, facilitation and training including the innovative use of these skills in Resource Management, Local Government, Te Ture Whenua Maori, Family, Organisational, Commercial and Contract disputes along with facilitating community engagement and restorative justice. Tim established Collaborative Solutions Ltd to promote people working together constructively to build engagement and resolve issues.  Tim is proud to have been a member of the very effective Domain Names Mediation panel since its inception in 2006.

Nigel Dunlop

Nigel Dunlop, AAMINZ, Advanced Panel Resolution Institute, BA/LLB


Nigel Dunlop is a Wellington-based barrister with a background in criminal and family law. He has over 30 years of experience as a mediator in a wide range of disputes involving almost 2000 parties and has achieved a high settlement rate. He is a current and past member of various statutory tribunals and complaint resolution panels in mental health, censorship, retirement villages, international education and real estate. He investigates workplace disputes. He has held leading law society roles.

 

Penny Mudford

Penny Mudford ONZM, FAMINZ(Arb), AMINZ Panel of Mediators

Penny Mudford is an arbitrator and mediator. She specialises in commercial and agricultural disputes and has experience on a number of complaint resolution panels and disciplinary tribunals for professional misconduct complaints. Penny is a Fellow of the Arbitrators’ and Mediators’ Institute of New Zealand(AMINZ), a member of the AMINZ Panel of Mediators, and a former chief executive of AMINZ.
